Arbitration is among our firm's main areas of work, due to our personnel's outstanding qualifications in alternative dispute resolution, and their experience in representing clients before arbitral institutions, most prominently the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA).

Sameh Zeineldin

Partner

The managing partner and a co-founder of the firm. Zeineldin brings a wide range of business-oriented corporate advice for our clients. With over thirty years of experience, Sameh has diverse expertise that covers manufacturing, construction, transportation, telecommunications, IT, and banking in addition to his roles in domestic and international disputes. Prior to founding ZF&Partners, Zeineldin was also a partner at two of Cairo's leading law firms where he spent thirty years of his career. He is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association, admitted before the Court of Cassation. In addition, he is an Approved Mediator in the Dispute Resolution Investment Center, an affiliate of the General Authority for Free zones and Investment. Zeineldin holds an LL.M in Commercial Law with a focus on Corporate Governance from Cardiff University, UK and a Post-Graduated Diploma in Investment and International Trade from the Cairo University, Faculty of Law with a focus on International Commercial Arbitration, International Commercial Contracts, and International Commercial Law.

Hisham Fayek

Partner

Co-founder of Zeineldin, Fayek & Partners. Fayek acquired in-depth experience and knowledge on complex corporate legal matters involving critical industries such as Tobacco business, FMG, IT and property development, in addition to his experience as a legal officer at the United Nations Compensation Commission, a subsidiary of the United Nations Security Council, in Geneva Switzerland. Fayek's experience also involves taking roles such as the General Counsel for Japan Tobacco Egypt, Nestle Middle East, Egyptian Renaissance Cinema Co. SAE, Deputy Company Secretary for Emaar Property PJSC and IBM Egypt's Counsel. All of which were3 utilize by hi to bring business sense and client orientation to ZF&P. Hisham has extensive experience in corporate law and M&As. Fayek holds a Bachelor of Law in 1979, from Ain Shams University, and also received training courses in international contracts from the “Institute De Droit Des Affaires Internationals”, which is managed jointly by “Cairo University” and “l’université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne” as well as receiving a training course in public international law from the University of Geneva and courses in leadership skills and general management program including corporate governance from IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Ayman Zaineldine

Partner

Senior Partner. Zaineldine is a recently retired diplomat, who served as Egypt’s ambassador to Spain and the principality of Andorra, and held key positions in Egypt’s embassies in Washington D.C., USA, Tokyo, Japan and Bonn, Germany. He also served as Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab East Affairs, Director of Press and Media Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senior Assistant to Egypt’s Chief Negotiator and coordinator of the negotiating team for the Egypt-EU Association Agreement, and held several positions dealing with economic and European affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Zaineldine holds a LL.B. from Cairo University (2019), a B. Sc. in Accounting, with minors in business and economics, from Cairo University (1985), and is a graduate of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1986). Besides, he finished a training-programs organized by the Cairo Center for International Commercial Arbitration qualifying for membership of the British Chartered Institute of Arbitrators CIArb (2021), and in online arbitration (2021), and took part in several study and training programs in diplomacy, international trade, international relations, development, European studies and negotiations.

Mohamed Farag

Associate

Senior litigation associate. Farag acquired extensive experience in civil, employment, and commercial disputes throughout the years. Before joining Zeineldin, Fayek & Partners, Mohamed was an associate at a top tier law firm which helped mold his business orientation. Mohamed is duly registered in the Egyptian Bar Association.

Batool Oleimy

Associate

Oleimy joined Zeineldin, Fayek & Partners in 2021 as an Associate in the firm’s Commercial and Corporate Department. Before joining the firm, Batool worked and interned at several prominent law firms. Oleimy works across various industries and has experience in multiple legal disciplines, including the fields of corporate structure, employment and general corporate and commercial. In addition, Oleimy is experienced in drafting and reviewing all types of commercial agreements, providing legal advice on transactional & non-transactional corporate and regulatory matters.

Bassem Zeineldin

Associate

Corporate Associate. Zeineldin graduated from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Law – English Section. Zeineldin is duly registered in the Egyptian Bar Association.

Mahmoud Galal

Associate

Galal joined Zeineldin, Fayek & Partners in 2022 as a Senior Associate in the firm’s Litigation and Corporate Department. He specializes in labor issues, litigation, intellectual property law, corporate registration, and related procedural matters. Before joining the firm, Galal worked and interned in the litigation and corporate department at a prominent Cairo law firm, as well as the legal department in a major petroleum services company operating in Egypt. Galal graduated from the Faculty of Law - Assiut University in 2013.
